Every year In September, OTP Capital together with OTP Bank traditionally offer their clients a compatible “hybrid” financial product – “Podviynyi” deposit. This is a combination of two instruments with different investment periods: a 3-month deposit with OTP Bank and a 12-month investment in a unit trust fund (UTF) from OTP Capital. The idea of creating the product “Podviyniy” was started in the middle of the 2000s by our Hungarian colleagues. Then OTP Fund Management Hungary and OTP Bank Hungary decided to combine a regular bank deposit and an investment fund to create a “dual” product.

The Double Result deposit is highlighted by the combination of two instruments with different investment periods: a 3-month deposit with OTP Bank and a 12-month investment in a mutual investment fund (UIF) from OTP Capital. This combination of tools gives conservative clients not only the opportunity to get a higher deposit rate, but also the opportunity of "trying" to invest in mutual funds. Why "trying"? Because for a random Ukrainian, investing in a mutual fund seems to be something complicated and unrealistic. However, having got the first experience, our clients enjoy not only the process but also the result. An important advantage of the OTP Double Result Fund is that the yield is paid as dividends, which is taxed at a much lower rate of personal income tax: 9% instead of 18%. This tax advantage allows you to increase the net return on investment. For now, we are summarizing the results of the previous year, so we can announce a new placement period, which will last from May 27, 2021 to June 25, 2021. Traditionally, the deposit will consist of two parts. Half of it to be placed on a deposit with a higher rate from OTP Bank, and the rest to the fund comprising various financial instruments. Traditionally, the fund's strategy involves investing in fixed income instruments such as domestic government bonds, bank deposits and corporate bonds. This approach makes it possible to obtain a return above bank deposits with a low level of risk. For many years, clients of OTP Capital and OTP Bank have been using the double investment offer, and therefore, for many years our clients have been reaping the double fruits of such an investment. We offer you to test the benefits of the product "Double Result" yourself. Visit any branch of OTP Bank to make a deposit. You can fill out the feedback form on our website for a consultation. More details about the product, historical profitability and investment conditions you can find on the Fund's page

The social initiative was introduced for us and our partners, the companies ready to support less but not the least important charity projects such as art promotion and preservation of cultural heritage. In December 2020, in partnership with Banza, we launched the pinUart.com project which is a platform aimed at raising funds for the restoration of artworks. "Mediterranean harbour with a caravan of merchants" by the early Flemish Jan Baptiste Van Der Meiren from the collection of the Khanenko Museum is the first exhibit of our project. The project was our social initiative in support of less but not the least important charity projects such as art promotion and preservation of cultural heritage, involving the companies ready to join it, like our current partners.  We have raised 83 thousand hryvnias, exactly what we aimed at, for 3 months of joint efforts with Banza, the leading partner of the project, and other participators. They were Oxford Medical, a large clinic network in Ukraine and the insurance company UNIQA.
